Hello again...

Hey ya'all just wanted to say hey... things have been kinda Crazy these past few months... but here it is almost March and things are going well. We have grown and God is moving in our fellowship so much that I am a loss for words...
Now i know i promised to post last time... but i didn't ... now that i have more time I will get to it..

Hurt, Hurting!!

Hey, ya all, well its Saturday afternoon and it is a beautiful day, Not to hot or cold... I am posting this from my back porch, we brought the chairs from the front to the back and are having a blast just sitting... I am listening to Reachfm radio as i write this... Well it has been one tough week... The Lord is breaking me... I thought I would do it my self...but it seems that the Lord wanted to go deeper "ouch" but somehow I know that it will be alright... God is on the throne and His spirit lives in me... Since coming back from the Pastor's conference in June... I had a change of heart... We revampted our Leadership.... We had an all night prayer meeting.."awesome" the vision I have for CCL is moving foward but the enemy is hot on my trail and God seems to be wanting to teach me a very wonderful yet hard lesson. This is what death feels like... My trust is in the Lord "really" i have nothing to else to hold on to... Jesus is the Rock and I must be broken if God wants to really work out here... My prayer is that i learn very quickly what God wants me to learn and move foward....

I'm Back!!!

EASTER 07

I always get excited about Easter. It is the greatest day on the calendar in my opinion It is the Day that we Celebrate the greatest event in all of history. It is the day that Christ defied death and walked out of the Tomb.

Easter is also a good time for evangelism to take place. There are so many people that need to hear the gospel. So pray about those you are going to invite and step out and do it.

We are going to conduct two services:

One @ 7:15 am (sunrise)

Second @ 10:15 am (regular)

Breakfast in between...

This will be time of major blessings, please pray the God will use each and everyone of us to bring someone to Christ.

Our Leadership Meeting!!

Hey, just to let you know what we have coming up very soon... We had a short leadership meeting on Sunday afternoon and are very excited about what God has in store for us... We started out by ordaining Sofeni Vaeena as my assistant pastor... then in the meeting we determined that we would do two services on Easter 1@ 7:15 am & 2 @ 10:15 am with breakfast in-between. We are also having our Open House on May 6th 2007 @ 6:30 pm all are invited. As far as teaching goes we have just a few short weeks until we will jump in the Gospel of John (see pic above) we will slow way down and really expose what the Apostle John really has for us. We are also in the process of buying projectors for our sanctuary. We had a great time with others involved in our meeting. Our Leadership is as follows

Resurrection Celebration!! 07

Don't forget coming up April 8th is our big resurrection celebration at Calvary: We will have two services with a pancake breakfast served in between. Last yr was amazing and I am looking forward to what God wants to do this yr.. We have a brand new building more chairs and space... Easter is the one time that folks seem to want to go to church. Well be praying for our church as we seek to minister to those who don't know Jesus.

Coming up next week on March 11th we will ordain Sof into the ministry, what a great day the Lord has for us. Sof has been with me for 3yrs and brings a lot of wisdom and faith to our ministry. Starting April 1st we begin Lord willing the book of John... I am so excited to see the Love transform our lives as we dig deep into this book.

Well better be on the road... or at least back to work.

The Lord moves once again!

Well, just wanted to remind you of our veggie tales movie premier this Saturday @ 10:00 am at the showplace 6 movie theatre. An amazing praise!! Rudy the Show Place theater manager prayed to receive Christ on Friday February 16th... Came to Calvary on Sunday of the next week and Loved it.. He has been telling everyone about his salvation!! Way Cool!! Please pray for Rudy... May the Lord continue to use us to do HIS work on earth...
Well better bolt for now... have to stuff VT bags for Sat... See ya soon
